I'd actually thought Dr. Helen Caldicott had stopped engaging in video medium, and was only writing for Australian Independent and more overt Russian outlets. Guess not! Some advice she had regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine was... for NATO was to disarm! There is still time for NATO to disarm!
If you're on Twitter and want to try maximize the impact of this video on an Australian anti-nuclear Green... my current suggestion is to re-tweet this...

...which is an experiment on my part. That's Mandy Nolan's 2022-02-19 tweet which she has pinned. It only has 34 replies, so a few retweets ought to make this debunk video fairly prominent to her followers.
Utility of the MacBook Pro
I think the biggest upside of the laptop I've found so far, is that I can free up the PC to be dedicated to the big-project Thorium doc. I do not think I can make that project mobile.
But, I found in years past any time Premiere Pro would muck-up in some way, to reload the project would take hours. (20 minutes to simply load the project, 2 hours to render a sequence audio so I could start editing.)
With the MBP, I can work on other complex and 4K projects while the PC re-loads the big project.
Otherwise I was always stuck only able to write or capture stuff... no other editing could be worked on.
Tech Notes on the Mandy Nolan / Helen Caldicott Video
This was the first project I started working on with my 2021 MBP. And the only project not narrated in a kid's play-place.
So this is the first one where I'd have liked it to be as high-quality as possible.
Weird Issues
My own narration comes from a number of locations, so there's a distracting change from time to time in how the audio sounds.
But that was to be expected. Unexpected are occasional crackles, such as at 9m20s.
Caldicott - "War is about killing!"
~crackle~
Nolan - "You often hear them talk-el-ing..."
...I have no ideas what is going on. That audio-crackle isn't in the preview.
Also, odd, is the occasional visual digital noise distorting my iPhone captured video of myself. I can't find a timecode for one at the moment, but that DOES show up in preview and I have no idea how or why it exists.
Video Editing Licences
This is all Premiere Pro of course. I have a license for Final Cut, and look forward to checking that out too, although I can't move the monolithic Thorium doc to any new editing platform at this point.
But if I can get iZotope RX9 to work in Final Cut (with my current RX9 license) then the next one-off like this could be attempted using something other than PPro.
SDR vs HDR
I shot in HDR (my narration) and of course the rest of the video consists of SDR assets.
Wasn't sure if it even made sense to show HDR footage of myself, as it as a not-bright-Gord with a very-bright-background. (Both shooting locations.)
But aside from my iPhone itself, the MBP is my very first HDR editing display. So I thought I should try.
I'm unable to create an HDR video that YouTube doesn't "squash" down making all HDR footage look normal, and all SDR footage look terrible.
(On the MBP itself, I can play videos where HDR pops but SDR looks normal.)
Anyway, neat to finally mess around with HDR video. I've been shooting HDR narration for years (iPhone), but never been able to see it on an editing display.
Fun fact: PPro can NOT (yet) render 10-bit HDR video with hardware acceleration! So rendering this video in HDR takes 10x as long as rendering in SDR... and I ultimately ended up using SDR anyway.
Lots to learn here.
