Folks, I've been mostly producing 30-seconds clips from TR2016 since releasing it. The 2 things I need to do are...
1. Improve viral propagation of TR2016 (30s clips one of many avenues for that).
2. Finished remaining 2nd half of TR2016.
What I spend my time on (and I've found myself largely without time since releasing TR2016-part-one) is determined by how big my chunks of time are.
Small chunks of time are what I've mostly had... therefore the 30s chunks.
What big-chunk I did have, I put towards the above p02 edit. That's not too different from before, except slightly cleaned-up and re-narrated. (No more head-cold.)
The full edit is much longer. Having returned to it after an extended have-no-time period, everything past the 20m mark I want to resequence, so I stopped where I think it falls apart and needs a re-think.
Mothers for Nuclear
You are seeing this post today because I want to give you a heads-up on a pro-nuclear protest taking place in California, pertaining to Diablo Canyon.
The first-ever pro-nuclear march — the March for Environmental Hope, June 24 - 28, San Francisco - Sacramento.
I volunteered some time (at the expense of finishing TR2016 p02 quicker) to help communicate this event. While you all know I'm very keen on Thorium and Molten Salt Reactors... I only ever came to this topic because of my concern over Global Warming.
And it is my belief that shutting down safely operating PWR is rather like smashing up a solar farm, or blowing up a wind turbine. Or a bridge. This is non-polluting clean energy infrastructure, and it should not be taken offline.
Repeatedly, we've seen nuclear replaced with fossil-fuel combustion (sometimes mixed with biomass combustion for load-balancing renewables). From a Global Warming perspective, shutting down Diablo Canyon is nuts.

30s Assets
If you haven't visited my own website recently, you will see that Thorium Remix 2016 is both available for download in whole (a 2h edit), and in very short segments.
30s clips can be downloaded to your PC, and re-uploaded to Twitter, as part of a Tweet.
These clips are also available within Facebook...
https://www.facebook.com/ThoriumRemix/videos
All these videos are tagged by advocacy scope.
[Th] Thorium
[Sa] Molten Salt Reactors
[Nu] Nuclear Power
[En] Energy Sanity
So if you're keen on say MSR, and aren't worried specifically about breeding Thorium, then useful videos to you would be tagged [Sa] [Nu] or [En]. Anything less-specific than Thorium, basically.
Download some, share some, tweet some. See if they are of any use to you in communicating the value of Nuclear Power, Molten Salt Reactors, and/or Thorium Energy.
I do have more I'd like to say, but am in a rush, and really do need to make sure people know about the pro-nuclear march. Hope you can attend.
