TEAC7 - Jim Kennedy, Thomas Jam Pedersen

1 min read

Jim Kennedy gives us an update on Th-REE legislation, with a recap as to why it is important. (Thanks to Eric and Ari for conducting the interview... they shot a ton of interviews.)

Thomas Jam Pedersen introduces Copenhagen Atomics to Thorium Energy Alliance. The Copenhagen Atomics Wasteburner is a reactor designed to consume nuclear waste, with Thorium used to transmute actinides and generate energy.

TEAC7 Summary

This was the best video support I've experienced at any conference.

An extremely large (paper) chroma key was taped up on the wall. We didn't get that completely sorted out until 2nd day (of 2 days), but it still helped as you'll see in future videos (and certainly TR2015). Thanks to eGeneration for coordinating the help of video volunteer "Will" who acquired it, and operated the chroma-camera during every talk for 2 days.

I conducted interviews, and helped cover the talks, but aside from making sure devices were operating I wasn't essential at any moment.

As an example, I was conducting an interview and didn't have time to interview Robert Stone (! director of Pandora's Promise !), but Eric and Ari were already doing that. I was able to join them at the end of their interview and toss out a few questions of my own. Easy.

And a special 3rd day was Dr. Per Peterson & a tour of CIET, which Kirk Sorensen had toured previously. My interview with Dr. Per Peterson was brief, but it was just what I needed for TR2015. You can imagine how Kirk's tour and TEAC7 tours could be edited together seamlessly.
