Mark Nelson and Dr. Stephen Boyd square-off in an Albuquerque hotel, on a TEAC11 evening. This was my big "to do" item at TEAC11, and I think it went well. This 34 minutes is culled from 2 hours of debate. Lots of unused material I'd like to use in the narrative piece.

Molten-Salt Research Reactor Update - Rusty Towell of ACU's NEXT Laboratory @ TEAC11
This is an important presentation. I'm sorry to say the audio quality varies. We had 2 capture mechanisms running and during Rusty's talk they both failed, and so the audio gets very "roomy". Terribly sorry to NEXT and Rusty. Guess I should go back to deploying SanDisk as well as the very nice PicoMics, while people also speak into bloody podium microphones.

Valerie Gardner is the Managing Partner of Nucleation Capital. NC invests in innovative companies enabling the transition to a carbon-managed economy. NC's focus is on early-stage ventures working primarily on advanced nuclear energy, advanced smart grids and deep decarbonization ventures.
I'd personally like to hear more from NC with a less global-warming-is-bad and nuclear-is-good and a bit more how-does-this-investing-work, because I think we're all quite sold on the reasons nuclear could be increasingly successful. Hope to see more from Valerie and Rod.
