Uranium-233 is being downblended with Uranium-238.
Because an exchange between U.S. Senator Tuberville (Alabama) and U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm regarding U-233 took place, I then had some 2021 video material to work with.
The ORNL footage is from Periodic Table of Videos. It is a great video, but doesn't get in to the destruction (downblending) of U-233 as perhaps being a bad thing.
Thorium is barely mentioned in my video... I don't want to make a longer video clarifying (verbally) to the audience that Thorium-229 is rare, and this isn't the abundant Thorium-232 material they usually hear about.
The odds Jennifer Granholm will see this are slim, but I edited it with her as the intended audience.
