ORNL has provided me with some coverage of Dr. Charles Forsberg's talk which I'd so excitedly mentioned before.
What I've created so-far is a plain vanilla edit based on the only ORNL provided asset of his talk... that was a 720p video almost exclusively of slides with a bit of Forsberg speaking at the beginning and end. (That is why there's so little of Forsberg shown.)
Because Forsberg provided his PDF to me, I was able replace the extremely-low-resolution ORNL copy of slides with 4K resolution. (This YouTube video is 4K.) Audio was super-low, I normalized that. Just basic stuff to try make this digestible to general public.
I've asked ORNL for full video coverage of Forsberg speaking (no not just a slide-deck video) and hopefully they can provide that too for future narrative efforts.
Do not know what the bottleneck is at ORNL end, but possibly this means we'll see a slew of ORNL videos from MSRW 2019 released over next couple months. That would be just fantastic, don't ya think?
This (Fusion) Talk is Important
I'm guessing the only MSR folks who will be super-happy to see this video are Kairos Power as that's the single startup mentioned by name.
Fortunately Dr. Charles Forsberg did allow me to interview him. And that went well. We discussed liquid fuel MSR in more depth. And the challenges of fusion power.
Basically I see this collection of assets as a way to expand Fusion-supporters interest to include either MSR generally, or even towards an MSR startup of choice.
Also, Andrew Yang is still in the race with a clean-energy policy proposal mapping directly onto this technology overlap... except of course "Molten-Salt" only exists on in Yang policy proposal and not on the debate stages. Clarifying the value of "Molten-Salt" helps broaden that public support towards all MSR.
Series of Molten-Salt Fusion Videos
Earliest goal in 2020 will be to release a series of videos leveraging Forsberg's argument (and interview assets) to expands any interest and support for fusion energy into becoming support for MSR.
Forsberg also mentions solar power towers. Same thing. I'd thought there was no post-Ivanpah opportunity there, but having witnessed the insane press coverage and support received by Heliogen (mirrors! computer controlled mirrors! who-could have imagined!?!) we should also have a means of edging any Solar Power Tower talk towards the importance of Molten-Salts.

2020 - Looking Interesting
There's stuff in the pipeline. No big narrative, but videos which will surely feed into a big narrative.
Right now there's nothing to say, except I'll probably need to take some time off my "real job" soon so I can construct more complicated stuff. (Some mental focus for extended lengths of time.)
The video I'm most proud of in 2019 is still this one:
Andrew Yang on Thorium, Democratic Candidates on Nuclear
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK_ctdto8i0
...certainly not the most-viewed one, but please do reconsider it as USA's election approaches and 2 of the top-3 Democratic candidates for President remain strongly anti-nuclear.
At year-end 2019, my YouTube subscribers are ~22k, and total views on my channels ~10 Million.
That and $5 will get ya a cup of coffee. So thanks for your support.
