Irradiation Effects in Austenitic Alloys - Steven Zinkle @ ORNL MSRW 2019

1 min read

"Irradiation Effects in Austenitic Alloys and Prospects for Improved Performance" was delivered by Steven J. Zinkle of the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Department of Materials Science & Engineering of University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN USA.

Steve Zinkle also works at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, TN USA.

Delivered at ORNL MSRW 2019, Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Molten Salt Reactor Workshop on 2019-10-02. (Oct 2nd, 2019.)

What comes out of ORNL

Busy day editing something, so just some quick notes on ORNL releasing the videos and DOE sharing weirdness.

I don't think I'll be getting slide-decks for most videos. Dr. Charles Forsberg's sharper video was thanks to him emailing me his slide-deck. Guess people working at MIT can email whatever they want.

In contrast, it is not clear any employees of national labs are free to do the same.

This is probably why I'm also only getting video containing slide-decks and not talking-head footage... whether or not such video data is easy for the video guy at ORNL to get to me, getting permission is likely "a thing".

So for most ORNL talks, this is what it will look like. I'm doing my best to ensure audio levels are YouTube appropriate, and the slides are shown as large as possible in the video frame. But... fuzzy slides for most of ORNL 2019 talks will be coming your way.
