A great talk. Raluca sent me her slide-deck which included 1GB of molten salt timelapse video data. You can imagine that's the sort of thing I'd like to leverage in narrative videos as well.
Dr. Raluca Scarlat guides student researchers working with molten salts at University of Wisconsin-Madison's Department of Engineering Physics.
There was also a great, short interview I did with Raluca near the TEAC8 venue. Shot on iPhone 5s (seen in my hand in public transit). That non-public-transit interview footage was corrupted during capture, unknown to me until I got home.
That is why I recently upgraded to iPhone 8+. It was that lost interview.
The 8+ has enough RAM that 3rd party video capture apps do not crash. I've had no problem with it so far. And it shoots 4K.
