I held an early Stand-Up For Nuclear event in Calgary on August 8th. Normally SUFN happen in September, but we have a community street festival nearby in August and I wanted to see how setting up a pro-nuclear table would go over.
The above video is 6 minutes long. I've put 2m20s of native-video into this Tweet...

...where you can ensure your event is listed for others to find, and you can get ideas and JPGs to help communicate. I did use one of their images (radioactive banana) at the table.
I presented on behalf of Canadians For Nuclear Energy (C4NE.ca).
Of course, others do random stuff like this too... I think many of us are still poking around to see what's effective (and cost-effective).
Stand-Up Assets:
- 2-Pager PDFs for Nuclear Vendors
- Radioactive Bananas and Gummy Bears
- Nuclear lifecycle CO2 vs other energy sources
