While this is not the best example of FOX broadcasting deliberately misleading information, it is a perfect example of an attitude which does not just represent what is wrong with your otherwise fine country. It is literally, exactly & precisely what is wrong with your country. FOX NEWS.

NEWSWEEK POLL – “Do you think Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq was directly involved in planning, financing, or carrying out the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001?”

2003 response: 47% Yes, 37% No, 16% not sure.
2004 response: 42% Yes, 44% No, 14% not sure.
2007 response: 41% Yes, 50% No,  9% not sure.

Saddam Hussein was not responsible in any way for 9/11. The Americans who don’t know this are the ones who consume FOX NEWS. Ask a fellow American if they believe Saddam Hussein was involved in 9/11. Oh he was? Then ask them where they get their news. I promise you they’ll answer “FOX NEWS”. Canadians are well aware of this correlation.

The reason USA is bogged down in 2 wars, instead of having won the Afghanistan war and caught Osama Bin Laden already (with which we continue to help) is because you, working through your employer FOX NEWS, helped the Bush administration convince your fellow citizens of a lie. That “Saddam Hussein was involved in 9/11″.

Likely if there had been no FOX NEWS, there’d have been only one war… the UN sanctioned war. USA would have won. And Canadians wouldn’t be looking south, waiting for the dwindling yet increasingly deranged fans of FOX NEWS to clue in that you don’t have their best interests at heart.

As an employee of FOX NEWS, do you ever stop to wonder what responsibly you might share for American casualties? And those of American allies?

Should my television cable provider ever offer me a bundle which includes FOX NEWS, my response will be a that they please watch the Red Eye clip, and that any inclusion of FOX NEWS would make such a bundle unacceptable.

Canadian or American..Any and Every life is sacred and should be respected! And what kind of dumbasses do you have working on that station?? We ride horses? Yes that is clearly the only form of transportation here!! And American police cars have to be so protected because of the American attitide very nicely displayed by your news display! You should be ashamed of yourselves for treating human life so disrespectfully! All of those asshole should be fired!! America is the most hated country for a reason!! I have been travelling around the world and everywhere I go I am immediatley treated awful because they assume I am American and as soon as I state that I am Canadian they are thrilled and I am suddenly treated like V.I.P…. Canada is an amazing country. Americans should be grateful we are there along side with them! They don’t deserve any help! You idiots put yourselves there! Every human life that is resulted from this war is United States doing!

This is a joke, how can anyone think this is funny they truly are ignorant assholes to think this is acceptable in any culture. I see that he has issues an apology to the military saying he didn’t mean to insult them but what about the police and other Canadians he insulted with his rude and ignorant remarks. I believe he should do a formal apology on TV were everyone can see, to all of Canada for being an idiot and thinking this was a good idea. I am a proud canadian and far from impressed, this is not funny and i would expect a lot more from a company such as Fox New and Fox TV. We Canadians do have technology to see your programming and we know what you do. So this is not acceptable, and as much as i know it wont matter what i think, you should be ashamed that you would let an uneducated Neanderthal have his own show and let him rant on about other countries like he actually had a brain.

Have any of these clowns ever enlisted in the military? What sort of community service have any of them ever done?…….Such ignorance, even in jest. Those were totally innapropriate comments and Fox should reprimand these guys.

I am incredibly hurt about what these guys said on Fox News about Canadas Military and Canadas Police Force. I feel this way first because I Revere our Military for the sacrifices and the compassion that they have shown the world. In times of Madness Canada has been there in a peacekeeping role to stop things from getting worse. I think fox should to a little research and find out who has been in Darfur, the Sudan, Cypress, and so many other hotspots. All to try to keep the blood from spilling and people from dying. Soldiers are thier taking thier own money and donating it to local charities and volunteering thier labour and sweat to rebuild war torn countries. You see Canadas military is more than just a bunch of Yahoos with guns. They are real heros who want to make a difference and do on a daily basis. As far as Fox impling that Canada is cowardly I would like to remind them that in the second world war it was Canadians who kept shipping supplies to Britian and dying at the hands of Nazi Uboat Commanders by the thousands. Had they not done so Britain would have been lost and the D-Day invasion which I supect fox would point to as American single handedly winning the second world war would have never been possible. Excuse me as I choke though as Canadians at Dunkirk paid the price in Blood so that the D-Day invasion would be a success. Not to mention that Canadians also participated in the sword invasion of Normandy. I could mention Vimy Ridge, Passendale and so may other Canadian contributions during the 1st World War but needless to say Canadians have earned thier valor. To me as a Canadian I think of the Canadian Military as Modern Day Spartens. The best trained, professional soldiers this world has ever seen. To this day I still believe that they can hold thier own against an army twice or even 5 times thier numbers. Not because of technology but sheer tenacity and the ability to adapt to almost any situation. What I think fox seems to have miscalculated is that we as Canadians hold our soldiers in HIGH esteem. On rememberance day we often cover our memorials with Poppies. We remember our soldiers by reciting poetry especially “In Flanders Fields”. I personally make spagetti and drink red wine as my grandfather fought in the Italian campeign. It must also be remembered that every soldier that dies is written into the book of rememberence and that book resides in the Peace Tower in Parliment Hill. We do not take our soldiers contributions lightly.

I’m looking forward to the day when those twats fall, or get knocked off, their high and mighty pedistal and come crawling to us for help. Beside the fact that every single thing that was said in this clip is completly false, it’s a well known fact that our military REPEATEDLY beats the shit out of theirs in war games year after year. If this was any other “news” station, it would be offensive.

Fact: Whenever bloggers write “open letters” to someone, no one gives a shit.
